Small, often busy bar and cafe. Has added more seating indoors. One or two seats kerbside. Good coffee and usually a nice pastry, very good pizza, several taps – generally at least one good.

Pubs are amazing places. Not all are good, some are bad, some just mediocre.
But when they are good they offer a refuge, a place to meet, a time to enjoy the company of others.
The public house, coaching inn, coffee shop and tavern have been a meeting place for hundreds of years. They have reflected changes in social norms, been a mainstay of our social interactions and given rise to ideas and conversation that has shaped our world. This is not a list of all the places I have had a pint. It is a list of places I have enjoyed a pint.
