Located on platform one this small but fab pub is worth a visit. Limited opening times. Seating in two small rooms inside or on a nice day on the station platform. Watch the world go by. Decent selection of beers.

Pubs are amazing places. Not all are good, some are bad, some just mediocre.
But when they are good they offer a refuge, a place to meet, a time to enjoy the company of others.
The public house, coaching inn, coffee shop and tavern have been a meeting place for hundreds of years. They have reflected changes in social norms, been a mainstay of our social interactions and given rise to ideas and conversation that has shaped our world. This is not a list of all the places I have had a pint. It is a list of places I have enjoyed a pint.
