Knaresborough Legendary watering hole, multiple small rooms across two floors. No beer garden. A modest but very good selection of beers on tap. Beers change regularly so plenty to keep you interested. Friendly.

Harrogate July 2022 Amazing pizza, a very good selection of beers on tap. Upstairs is a decent sized open plan dining room with floor to ceiling window that makes the room light and very pleasant.
Pubs are amazing places. Not all are good, some are bad, some just mediocre.
But when they are good they offer a refuge, a place to meet, a time to enjoy the company of others.
The public house, coaching inn, coffee shop and tavern have been a meeting place for hundreds of years. They have reflected changes in social norms, been a mainstay of our social interactions and given rise to ideas and conversations that have shaped our world.
This is not a list of all the places I have had a pint. It is a list of places I have enjoyed a pint.
