To the pub

Pubs are amazing places, some good, some bad some just mediocre. The public house, coaching inn, coffee shop and tavern have been a meeting place for hundreds of years. They have reflected changes in social norms, been a mainstay of our social interactions and given rise to ideas and conversation that has shaped our world. This is not a list of all the places I have had a pint. It is a list of places I have enjoyed a pint.

    Knaresborough Located on platform one this small but fab pub is worth a visit. Limited opening times. Seating in two small rooms inside or on a nice day on the station platform. Watch the world go by. Decent selection of beers.

    Knaresbourgh Lovely location by the river, some outside seating, beer garden, open plan room split into two sections. Small but very good selection of beers on tap. Very good sharing platters and soup. Friendly.

    Knaresborough Legendary watering hole, multiple small rooms across two floors. No beer garden. A modest but very good selection of beers on tap. Beers change regularly so plenty to keep you interested. Friendly.
